The fall exhibition at newARTSpace features landscapes, both real and imagined. New Island is the work of Kaukauna artist Lee Mothes who has been collecting souvenirs from a location that does not exist other than in the drawings, paintings and maps he has created in his studio. In Disruptions/Constructions photographer Steve Bliss, of Savannah, Georgia, constructs landscape views that are powered by their subtlety and a narrative that derives from their dramatic attenuated form.
